Canopy by Hilton
Developed as a competition proposal for a 130-key Canopy by Hilton hotel, the interior concept draws on the architectural character of historic Tbilisi and the identity of the brand.
Terracotta and clay form the project’s material language, connecting Canopy’s signature orange with a material deeply rooted in Georgian architecture and extending the character of the building’s brick-like façade into the interiors.
The canopy becomes a recurring architectural motif throughout the hotel — shaping the lobby, public spaces, corridors and guest rooms — while references to historic arches, passages and local craftsmanship establish a dialogue between old and new.
The proposal was selected as a competition finalist.
