Sakurami Beauty Salon

Sakurami Beauty Salon reinterprets classical ornament through a contemporary approach. Classical decorative motifs were redrawn as delicate line illustrations, printed onto paper and applied across the walls and ceilings like wallpaper. The same drawings were printed directly onto furniture surfaces, allowing the ornament to continue seamlessly throughout the interior.

A series of custom elements including the waiting bench, manicure tables and cabinetry were designed specifically for the project, creating a coherent and distinctive identity.

The project received Project of the Year, Public Interior at Archiaward 2013, Georgia, and Archiaward 2014, Ukraine.
