Alaverdi Winery

Located near the historic Alaverdi Cathedral, the winery and tasting space is conceived as an architecture that recedes into the landscape rather than competing with its surroundings.

The building is enclosed by an earth-covered perimeter wall, forming an artificial hill that conceals the main volume while creating a buffer zone for technical infrastructure between the building and the landscaped edge.

Above the terrain, a mirrored volume reflects the changing sky and surrounding landscape, giving the building an almost immaterial presence.

The result is a quiet architectural intervention shaped by landscape, reflection and respect for its historic context.
